A guide to making healthy nutrition choices

Nourishing your body. 
Taking care of your body from the inside out is the most effective form of self care. Here are my 4 tips to make healthy nutrition choices: 
Choose quality food: 
Food is healing medicine, energy, and nourishment. This is why fueling your body with nutrient dense, fresh, REAL food is so important. Don't be afraid to read the ingredients labels so that you can make the best decision for yourself.
Aim for consistency:  
Create consistency by building it into your routine. It's not about how complex a task is, but about how often you can do it over an extended period of time. Build out your weekly grocery list, browse healthy recipes online, and preplan daily movement into your schedule. 
 
Portion size: 
Learn your body's hunger and fullness cues and listen to them. Your body will tell you what it needs and when. Being mindful when eating allows me to be aware of when Im actually full.
Listen to your body’s personal reactions to the foods you intake: 
Pay attention to how your body responds to certain foods. Are you energetic afterwards or fighting off sleep? Feeling lively or dealing with stomach pain? 
Give yourself the foods that make you feel good!
